Fret Fix changes
/I recently discovered that some guitars have different spacing between the fret buttons (the part you press on with your fingers) and the fret circuit boards (where the fret switches are mounted).
The result is that after installing the Fret Fix on some guitars, the fret buttons can end up being too loose and so “rattle” a bit, or being too tight making it too easy to accidentally activate a switch.
To fix this issue I’ve manufactured a set of spacers that can be snapped onto the Fret Fix circuit boards to space the boards out a bit when needed. I’m including these spacers on all orders shipped since Dec 23.
If you have a set of Fret Fix boards and need some spacers — let me know and I’ll be happy to send them to you. Just drop me a line at guitar@bytearts.com.
Check the Fret Fix installation instructions for updates as well: Fret Fix Installation — I’m adding more pictures and details to the instructions all weekend.
HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
