Byte Arts - supporting Rock Band players since 2008

Original rock band 1 guitar

Rock Band 1 Stratocaster - the guitar that started it all!

When Rock Band 1 first came out it quickly became our favorite game for the whole family, but when our guitar strummer broke after 2 weeks it started us down a journey that has seen us provide thousands of replacement strummers to players around the world.

After years of operating as a “side-gig”, we are now full-time and continuing to provide replacement strummers, fret boards and other parts to keep your Rock Band guitars playing.

The journey continues to this day as we take advantage of modern technologies to make our own custom guitar, the OFMG (Open Firmware Modular Guitar) which will be available in early 2026.

Byte Arts LLC is a family owned/operated business based in beautiful Bozeman Montana USA. We run our business based on a simple principle: treat others the way you’d like to be treated.
