I started working on a new version of the MIDI Rocker LX last spring, fully expecting to have it ready to ship by the summer. Now it’s 2020 and it’s not much closer. I even had a Kickstarter project all set to go.

Unfortunately work, health issues, and other life events occurred which have severely limited the time I have available to work on it, and I don’t see the situation getting much better anytime soon. I have released all the source code and design files for the original MIDI Rocker LX on Github, so if someone wants to resurrect the original I’m here to answer questions and help how I can.

There’s a fairly active community on Reddit/r/RockBand - check it out if you are interested in modding guitars, using e-drums etc… I’m on there fairly regularly and try to answer questions when I can.
